JetStream Federal Credit Union rallies support for hurricane relief efforts

MIAMI LAKES, FL (October 23, 2024) — In a remarkable show of solidarity, employees of JetStream Federal Credit Union recently came together to collect canned goods, supplies, and water for those affected by hurricanes Milton and Helene, which devastated the Sarasota-Manatee area within just 13 days. The need for support in these communities has never been more critical, and JetStream employees rose to the occasion.

Upon learning about the relief efforts led by the Town of Miami Lakes, JetStream Federal Credit Union CEO, Jeanne Kucey commented on the initiative, stating, “At JetStream, we are committed to being there for communities in need, ensuring we lend a helping hand when it matters most. In times of crisis, it is our duty to support those who are struggling.”

The collection drive successfully gathered essential items that will help families in the Sarasota-Manatee area as they work toward recovery. This effort exemplifies the credit union’s dedication to making a positive impact and reinforcing the bonds within our broader community.

JetStream Federal Credit Union encourages everyone to continue supporting local relief initiatives and helping those affected by these recent hurricanes. Together, we can foster hope and resilience in the face of adversity.
