JetStream Federal Credit Union Participates in Miami Dade County Public Schools Summer Internship Program

MIAMI LAKES, FL (August 1, 2013) — JetStream Federal Credit Union participated in the Miami Dade County Public Schools Summer Internship Program for the 6th consecutive year.  Students from Barbara Goleman High School’s Academy of Finance were selected to intern at JetStream Federal’s headquarters in Miami Lakes. The students Latrice Sneed and Giselle Schmidt worked in the various departments at the credit union, including Accounting, Human Resources, Training, Business Development and Information Technology for a total of 150 hours each. These students will be majoring in Finance and Information Technology when they graduate high school in 2014.

“The Summer Internship program is a great opportunity to explore potential careers and gain valuable job experience in a real corporate environment prior to starting college” said Mio Serrano, VP of Human Resources.  “These bright young ladies have a promising future ahead of them.”
