Rivermark Community Credit Union is pleased to welcome Jeremy Calva as its new Chief Financial Officer. Jeremy will oversee Rivermark’s Finance, Accounting, Risk and Internal Audit areas.
Jeremy brings over 20 years of financial service experience to Rivermark. He most recently served as a Senior Vice President for City National Bank overseeing Compliance issue management, third party risk management, budgeting, planning, reporting and administration. He has also held positions with several other financial institutions, including America’s Christian Credit Union and Xceed Financial Credit Union.
“I’m excited to join a team that is focused on serving their community in a deeper and more intentional way,” said Jeremy. “I’m looking forward to aligning my experience in managing financial and operational risks, while centering our focus on serving members.”
Jeremy has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1999. During the financial crisis he established recovery models that were utilized to recover losses in residential mortgage-backed securities from capital market participants that were sold in breach of contractual obligations. He is a graduate of Western CUNA Management School and proud undergraduate of University of Wisconsin,
Madison with a double major in Accounting and Marketing.
In addition, Jeremy has also held numerous other leadership positions for various non-profit organizations. A few of those organizations are South Pasadena Education Foundation, YoungLife and Christian Assembly.
