LOWELL – Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union is pleased to announce that we are again hosting a Toys for Tots drive to collect new, unwrapped toys that U.S. Marine Corps Reserve members will donate to families whose children would otherwise go without gifts this holiday season.
The U.S. Marine Corps Reserves sponsors Toys for Tots to help less fortunate children experience the joys of the holiday season by delivering, through a new toy, a message of hope and inspiration. Since its inception in 1947, Toys for Tots has distributed more than 452 million toys to more than 209 million children.
“We are proud to assist the U.S. Marines in this very worthwhile endeavor,” said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. “Knowing they helped to put a smile on the face of a child – a child who otherwise might have received no gift during the holiday season – has always inspired our members to donate generously to this campaign.”
New, unwrapped toys may be dropped off at any Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union branch location from now through December 14th.
