LOWELL, MA (October 28, 2024) — Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union is pleased to present Connor’s Kindness Project with a donation of $1,500 as the third quarter winner of the Credit Union’s Give-A-Click campaign.

The Give-A-Click program runs quarterly on the We Share a Common Thread Foundation website (WSACT.com). Community members visit the site, learn about the worthy non-profit nominees, and cast their votes for the organization they would like to support. The program with the most votes at the end of the quarter is awarded a $1,500 donation from the Foundation. Founded in 2020 by then-12-year-old Connor Wright, Connor’s Kindness Project assembles and distributes Kindness Kits to children in local hospitals and shelters. Their Kindness Kits ensure that these children experience fun and comfort while going through a challenging time.

“We’re so thankful to the community for choosing us for the $1,500 prize,” said Connor Wright, Founder of Connor’s Kindness Project. “This donation will help us bring our Kindness Kits to even more children who are experiencing homelessness, medical challenges, or other hardship across New England. Thank you to everyone who voted for CKP and chose kindness!”

“It’s wonderful to see the next generation getting involved in the community, and Connor’s Kindness Project reaches so many kids who deserve a little extra care and joy,” said Larissa C. Thurston, President and Chief Executive Officer at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. “We’re happy to be able to provide this support to such a wonderful organization.”
