Today the company announced it has been included in IDG’s Computerworld annual ranking of the 100 Best Places to Work in IT for 2018. This marks Jack Henry & Associates’ eighth year on the list, ranking number 44 in the Large Companies category.

Now in its 25th year, this awards program highlights organizations that offer a dynamic and rewarding work environment for IT professionals, as well as competitive benefits and compensation. To determine the rankings, employees were independently and anonymously surveyed about key characteristics of the workplace, including employee engagement, training proficiency, retention rates, and access to innovative technologies.

David Foss, president and CEO of Jack Henry & Associates, said, “Bankers today are increasingly challenged to do more with less, which is why Jack Henry & Associates is dedicated to providing technology solutions that help financial institutions streamline processes, boost efficiencies, and better serve customers. We could not develop and bring these solutions to market without the talented group of IT professionals we employ. We are committed to continuing our investment in attracting and retaining top IT talent by offering a challenging and rewarding work environment. We are honored to once again be recognized by Computerworld for our efforts.”

The Computerworld Best Places to Work in IT ranking recognizes 100 organizations, which are divided into three categories based on size. Jack Henry & Associates ranked in the Large Companies category, for organizations with 5,000 or more employees.

“Over the past couple of years, we’ve seen an already tight market for tech talent get even tighter,” said Computerworld executive editor Ken Mingis. “Computerworld’s 2018 Best Places to Work in IT list illustrates that the companies that offer the best working environments aren’t satisfied with rolling out one or two initiatives. They seek an edge in the talent marketplace through a combination of good salaries, great benefits, ready access to training, and the deployment of cutting-edge technologies. They recognize that the top tech talent can easily move to the organization that respects them best, and they are determined to be that organization.”

Survey results and coverage are featured in both the June issue of the Computerworld digital magazine and online at www.computerworld.com. For more details about Computerworld’s 100 Best Places to Work in IT program for 2018, visit the publication here.
