SAN FRANCISCO (OCTOBER 2012) – J.R. Bruno & Associates has named financial services executive Larry Buyers to its team of consultants. Buyers brings more than 25 years of SBA and commercial lending experience at several financial institutions. He has held positions including vice president for business development, SBA department manager, credit manager, and loan servicing officer. Most recently, he was with the National Loan Processing Center of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Buyers began his career in the public sector, in job creation funded by the Ford Foundation and the Office of Economic Opportunity where he was responsible for several business startups. After moving to financial services, he started and ran several SBA departments, with the largest growing to an annual funding of over $40 million, providing more than $1 million in annual bottom line contributions.
