York, PA - On October 1, 2012 - First Capital Federal Credit Union rolled out its new First Capital Star Rewards program. The program is designed for members age 26 and over and is made up of three tiers or Star levels. Each month members receive points based on their usage of products and services (for the previous month), as well as the number of years they have been a loyal First Capital member. Once their score is tallied, they become eligible for one-to-three star treatment throughout that entire month. Each tier offers many FREE products and service. For instance, those in the three star category receive a .15% annual percentage rate discount on loans and a .10% bump rate on share certificates. This new program was created to encourage members to use First Capital as their primary financial institution. The more products and services they use, the better the rewards.
