DES MOINES, IA (May 31, 2013) The Iowa Credit Union League (ICUL) has been recognized for excellence in public relations and marketing by the Central Iowa Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the Iowa Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA).
PRSA held its annual PRIME Awards Ceremony on April 25, 2013. The PRIME Awards recognize excellence in Central Iowa agencies, organizations and individual professionals’ public relations efforts. Two awards, a PRIME Award of Excellence and a PRIME Award of Merit, were given to each of the 16 categories. Entries were judged by the West Michigan PRSA Chapter.
ICUL received an Award of Excellence for its public website redesign (www.iowacreditunions.com) and a Merit Award for its 2011 Annual Report.
AMA held its annual NOVA Awards Ceremony on May 2, 2013. NOVA Award entries are judged on the strategy, tactics and results achieved based on the campaign objectives. Three finalists are recognized in each of the 12 categories. A panel of marketing professionals from the American Marketing Association - Phoenix Chapter served as the judges.
ICUL received third place in the Nonprofit Marketing category for its public website redesign. The Nonprofit Marketing category recognizes exemplary marketing programs intended to change behavior, grow membership, increase awareness, raise funds and generate support.
