Integrated payment protection feature by TruStage™ Live with seven partners in less than one year

Over 1.25 million applicants presented with protection products

MADISON, WI (July 23, 2024) — Today, TruStageTM announced Clutch will begin utilizing its integrated dynamic content capability for payment protection products. The announcement comes less than one year after the organization’s first partner, MeridianLink® announced it would leverage the feature. Piggybacking on this success, five other partners have also gone live this year including TruStage Digital Storefront, Tangenesis for Temenos credit unions, Sync1 Systems LOS CUSO and fiVISION. Three additional partners will be in development this year: Credit Snap, ECU Technologies and IMSI for Corelation credit unions.

Integrated dynamic content for payment protection products provides educational content to members directly within the loan application. Over 1.25 million applicants have been presented   products such as payment protection (including Credit Insurance and Debt Protection), GAP and Mechanical Repair Coverage while applying for a consumer loan.1 Integrated dynamic content can provide detailed product education and personalized price estimates, enabling members to signal their interest in learning more about the products without the hassle of navigating multiple platforms.

“At Clutch, we are committed to empowering credit union members with innovative solutions that simplify their financial journey,” said Tamanna Kottwani, Head of Product at Clutch. “Teaming up with TruStage allows us to enhance our offering and provide credit union members with a digital platform to explore and understand protection products effortlessly in a context where they are highly needed: when applying for a loan.”

“Our collaboration with our partner organizations marks a significant milestone in our commitment to empowering credit union members with tailored payment protection options,” said TruStage Vice President of Lending and Consumer Experience, Corrin Maier. “Our partners enjoy enhanced member engagement but also a streamlined process allowing them to prioritize applicant follow-up and offer personalized payment protection solutions,” stated Maier.
