Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU) presented a check for $1,600 to the Red Pride Booster Club (Plainfield, IN), which supports Plainfield High School Athletics, as part of an ongoing school spirit debit card program. The partnership allows Plainfield athletics fans the opportunity to show their school spirit and support the athletic program by signing up for a Red Pride themed debit card. Every time the card is used as a signature based transaction, Plainfield athletics benefits. The more cards that are in use, the larger the contribution. Since beginning the program in 2017, Plainfield athletics has earned $9,600 through this IMCU giveback program. In 2023, IMCU has contributed a total of $100,000 through its Giveback Debit Card Program.
Annie Prose, Branch Manager, IMCU Plainfield Branch, presented the check to Torrey Rodkey, Athletic Director, Plainfield High School, and Michael Menser, President, Red Pride Booster Club, at the boys varsity basketball game on November 22, 2023.
The card is available for issue to members at IMCU’s Plainfield branch, 2210 Stafford Rd., as well as IMCU’s other 30 Indiana locations. The IMCU Red Pride debit is free to members with IMCU’s free checking account and can be issued immediately through IMCU’s Instant Issue program, which allows members to receive their debit cards on the spot.
