Hopewell Federal Credit Union (HFCU) recently held its annual Car Show in Newark, Ohio on Saturday, August 26, 2023. The annual Car Show is a community event where all proceeds are donated to the Licking County Humane Society (LCHS). Today, proceeds from the event totaling $4,200.00 were presented by Chris Simmons, President and CEO and Audra Johns, AVP of Marketing and Business Development of Hopewell Federal Credit Union (HFCU) to Lori Carlson, Executive Director and Kaycie Yeager, Volunteer Coordinator of the Licking County Humane Society (LCHS).
The event was sponsored by Courtesy Ambulance, Navotros, Webb Financial Group LLC, Frost Insurance, Member Driven Technologies, WNKO, Coviance, Lillie and Company, CRIF Select Corp, Johnstown Title, Johnstown Chamber of Commerce, Tedrick Concessions, Dayta Network Services, Superior Credit Union and LenderClose. James Matheny, son of the late Jim Matheny of Kar Shoz, coordinated the event and Poppy’s Road Side Grill donated his time and food tuck. With the community’s support and great weather, this event was very successful. We had 70 cars register and lots of people stopping by to donate to this great cause. LCHS is very thankful to everyone who participated in this event. The money raised will go towards their mission of rescuing animals to improve lives.
