Hopewell Federal Credit Union (HFCU) expands its team with four new team members. Two management positions including Paul Haney, Lending Manager and Patrick Simpson, Newark Branch Manager. In addition, two new tellers, Candice Heston and Ashten Priest, join the team.
Paul Haney, a resident of Pataskala, Ohio, will be responsible for directing the administration and development of HFCU’s lending operations. Haney is a 1999 graduate of Shelby High School in Shelby, Ohio. Following high school, Haney attended The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where he studied business finance. He brings financial experience, previously serving a large bank as Consumer Credit Underwriting Manager.
Patrick Simpson, also brings financial experience where he previously served as Account Services Manager at another financial institution. Simpson, a 2007 graduate of Licking Valley High School in Newark, Ohio, currently serves as the Harford Fair Board Treasurer.
Candice Heston, a resident of Frazeysburg, Ohio, served as a Billing Representative at her previous employer. Heston, a graduate of Liberty Union High School in Baltimore, Ohio, also earned her associate degree in Applied Business and Information Technology from Zane State in Zanesville, Ohio.
Ashten Priest of Newark, Ohio joined the team following employment as a Shift Leader at a local sandwich shop. She is a 2014 graduate of Watkins Memorial High School in Pataskala, Ohio. In 2017, she graduated from Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology in Columbus, Ohio and is a licensed Cosmetologist.
