Honor’s Holiday Donation Drop: Spreading cheer and support across Michigan

BERRIEN SPRINGS, MI (November 4, 2024) — This holiday season, Honor Credit Union is proud  to announce the launch of its Holiday Donation Drop, a statewide initiative aimed at supporting  individuals and families in need. Thirteen of Honor’s member centers throughout Michigan have  partnered with local non-profits and charitable organizations to collect essential items such as toys,  clothing, food, and other necessities.

The Holiday Donation Drop will run through December 13th, with each participating location  collaborating with a local partner to ensure that donations directly benefit the surrounding community.  Items collected will help bring warmth, joy, and support to those facing difficult times during the  holidays. 

Honor Credit Union is dedicated to uplifting the communities it serves. With the holiday season  approaching, many families are facing challenges. That’s why Honor is inviting the community to come  together and donate essential items. This generosity can help spread joy and warmth to those in need,  ensuring that everyone can experience the spirit of the season! 

Each of the 13 member centers will serve as a collection point for donations, and the local partnerships  include a diverse array of community organizations, from food pantries and shelters to toy drives and  clothing banks.

  • Jenison Member Center – Jenison Public Schools – Parent Liaison – Winter Needs Drive Marquette Member Center – Jacobetti Veterans Home 
  • Negaunee Member Center – Birchview Elementary 
  • Paw Paw Member Center – Friends of VanBuren County Animal Control 
  • Plainwell Member Center – Christian Neighbors Food Pantry 
  • Portage Member Center – Angel Tree 
  • St. Joesph Member Center – Wonderland Toy Store

Honor Credit Union invites community members to join their Holiday Donation Drop by reaching out to  their nearest member center for a list of needed items to support their chosen organization. Together  with the community, Honor Credit Union is dedicated to spreading joy and support to those who need it  most this season. Every contribution will go a long way in supporting local families and ensuring a  brighter holiday season for all.
