Hiway Federal Credit Union® (Hiway) and the Midway YMCA in St. Paul Minnesota is pleased to announce the appointment of Community Board member Dave Engler. Dave was appointed to the YMCA Board of Directors. Dave already has a long-standing relationship with the Y, having volunteered and partnered in many ways since the early 1980s.
Dave is currently the Vice President of Investment Services located at Hiway and brings with him over 20 years of financial planning, banking and leadership experience. He is also the Treasurer of the Provident Bank Foundation. He holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from University of St. Thomas, and a bachelor’s Economics and German from University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.
YMCA Community Board members are responsible for establishing policy and strategic direction for the Y, as well as creating opportunities and establishing relationships that advance the YMCA’s mission and cause. “Dave joins our Board with the privilege of already having an in-depth understanding of our organization and our mission”, said David Dominick, Executive Director of the Midway YMCA Board. “We are thankful for Dave’s participation and that his role at the Y will allow him to further share his knowledge and expertise and his addition will be a positive one.”
