Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union Introduces New Financial Education Game at Youth Event

On March 16th, Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union hosted a booth at the Spring Forward Expo, an annual event that offers parents and children summer camp information, higher education exhibits, photos with the Easter Bunny and more.

At this event, the credit union unveiled their new interactive computer game, the Coindexter Club, to attendees. Children were invited to check out and experience the club and play the games while parents were introduced to all of the benefits this program has to offer. Heritage Trust also shared their youth and teen savings accounts slated to launch in late April.

The Coindexter Club is designed to help children of all ages learn how to earn, save, spend, manage and invest money. In the game, children are immersed in the ever-expanding virtual world of Econopolis. They are also given opportunities to manage the virtual money they make doing chores and jobs. There is even a virtual Heritage Trust branch within the game where kids can learn the importance of saving money and making regular deposits.

Membership in the Coindexter Club is available to Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union members at no charge. The registration process is quick and easy! Simply visit www.HeritageTrust.org to get started.
