Grow Financial Federal Credit Union continues strategic growth initiatives with five new stores opening throughout Florida and South Carolina

Locations will Open in Clearwater, Charleston and Columbia Areas

TAMPAFL (November 4, 2014) — Grow Financial, one of the leading Credit Unions in the nation, announces their long-term strategic service opportunities with five more stores opening this year in Florida and throughout South Carolina.  As a result of the Credit Union’s overall growth initiative, eight new stores have opened in the past two years.

New locations still under construction and projected for a mid-November open date in South Carolina are located in Lexington at 805 HWY 378 and 2017 Devine Street in downtown Columbia.  In addition, a new location will open in Clearwater, FL at 2768 Gulf to Bay Blvd. in mid-December.

The two new locations at the Shoppes of Summerville off Central Avenue and the new shopping center at the corner of Dorchester Road and Wescott Boulevard in Charleston, South Carolina both opened in mid-October.  All five of the new stores will display a modern retail design encompassing an innovative and refreshing alternative to traditional bank lobby designs.

The Credit Union is looking forward to opening the different locations to serve a greater population throughout the state of South Carolina.  “Serving our members throughout South Carolina has always been a top priority for Grow Financial, “said Chase Clelland, Vice President of South Carolina Operations.  “We are eager to meet the needs of our members throughout the greater Columbia market, as well as the opening of our first store in Charleston.”

Each new store constructed will feature something unique of its own.  The Lexington location will have the first ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) at a Grow Financial location in South Carolina.  The location is set to be a freestanding building with a detached drive through to serve member’s multiple needs, while the Devine Street location is located in a historic part of town and will encompass a boutique look and feel.  The interior will feature exposed brick, rafters and hardwood floors.  The Devine Street location is the first boutique site in the Credit Union’s history.

In the Charleston area, the Wescott location will feature an open storefront and layout, conducive to modern banking, while Summerville will feature a self-service kiosk and new interactive wall unit that encompasses the Credit Union’s modern, forward thinking design and business philosophy.

The new Clearwater location set to open this December on Gulf to Bay Blvd. is a beautiful example of modern architecture that will feature the latest in new cutting edge technologies.

“We are very excited to grow our footprint in Pinellas County, and are pleased to offer our prospects and existing members an additional location to visit with us, “ said Heidi Hackney, Market Manager of the new Gulf to Bay Store.

All five stores are planning grand opening celebrations for early January with respective Chamber of Commerce offices and local businesses to celebrate this milestone.
