Greenbelt Federal Credit Union has named David Muse as its new chief executive officer, effective Monday, Oct. 15. Credit Union Resources conducted the executive search for the $32 million credit union.
Muse’s more than 10 years of operations experience will be a valuable asset to Greenbelt FCU. His passion for business development, revenue growth, and strategic planning will help Greenbelt continue to provide exceptional service to its members.
Muse comes to Greenbelt from the Department of Labor Federal Credit Union in Washington, D.C., where he served as chief operating officer/BSA compliance officer. He was responsible for leading branch operations, including retail operations, lending, marketing, vendor management, audit, compliance, and strategic partnerships. In this position, Muse led the lending evolution program, resulting in a sales-to-service model for member service representatives, which improved member satisfaction, products per member, and cross-selling by frontline staff.
Prior to working at the Department of Labor FCU, Muse was the branch manager at SunTrust Bank in Washington, D.C. He was responsible for branch operations including sales and service. Muse successfully trained individual branch managers and bank teammates to exceed sales and service goals.
