Greater Texas Credit Union celebrates grand opening of new Arlington branch

Greater Texas Credit Union held a Grand Opening Celebration of its new free-standing, full-service branch located at 1425 North Center St., Arlington, TX 76011 on Friday, October 25, 2019.

Greater Texas Credit Union CEO & President, Howard Baker, and COO, Jason Goodman shared a few words to kick-off the celebration, and Board Chairperson, Penny Rychetsky spoke about the exciting growth happening in Arlington and beyond.

Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President, Investor and Business Development Henry Lewczyk presented Howard Baker with a chamber plaque and spoke of the credit union’s important community involvement and appreciated chamber support. In attendance representing the City of Arlington were Council Member Dr. Barbara Odom-Wesley, District 8 and Council Member Helen Moise, District 1.

Greater Texas Credit Union has been serving Texans since 1952, and the Arlington community since 1998. The Arlington branch is 3300 sq. ft. with 3 drive thru lanes and drive-thru ATM to better expand the credit union’s reach and service to members and the Arlington community. As with all locations, the new Arlington location participates in the CO-OP Shared Branch Service Center Network allowing Greater Texas the ability to serve members of other credit unions as they travel across the state. Greater Texas Credit Union has 19 locations across Texas and is also known as Aggieland Credit Union in the Brazos Valley.
