Greater Nevada announces new VP People

CARSON CITY, NV (March 10, 2015) — Rachel Langtry has joined Greater Nevada Credit Union as VP People. She brings more than 20 years of credit union experience and will oversee the Human Resources, Talent, and Training and Development areas at Greater Nevada. As VP People, Langtry will focus on helping to build, support and communicate the culture of Greater Nevada through training, team collaboration, and employee engagement.

Prior to joining Greater Nevada, Langtry was the Senior Vice President of Administration and Communications at Credit Union 1 in Anchorage, Alaska. She holds a BS in Business Marketing from University of Phoenix and is a member of I3 (Ideas, Innovation, Implementation) at the Filene Research Institute, which brings together credit union leaders across North America to help solve issues within the consumer finance industry.

Langtry, who has been volunteering, fundraising, and donating for various causes and organizations since childhood, says she is looking forward to supporting Greater Nevada’s commitment to excellent member service and community involvement.
