Great Lakes Credit Union (GLCU) is pleased to announce several recent leadership additions.
We are very pleased to announce the promotion of Fred Campobasso to Chief Lending Officer. Mr. Campobasso has been the Vice President of Consumer Lending since September, 2017. Prior to joining GLCU, he spent over 12-years in a variety of roles in Consumer and Mortgage Lending, and Call Center Sales and Service. Fred has a history of employee development and has been consistently recognized for outstanding team sales performance throughout his career. Active in the communities in which we live and work, Fred supports Esperanza Health Centers and The Green Star Movement through his Board involvement. Additionally, Mr. Campobasso supports GLCU volunteer initiatives. Fred holds a Master Certificate in Strategy and Execution from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
Christopher Visocnik was recently promoted to lead the credit union’s Information Systems and Information Technology departments as the Vice President of Information Technology. Mr. Visocnik has over 22-years of experience in information technology with 15-years of IT Management in the financial services industry including GLCU. He has expertise in information security, enterprise architecture and data center infrastructure. Mr. Visocnik holds a degree in Project Management from Lake Forest School of Management, received certificates from the American Management Association for Managing IT & Technical Professionals; CISCO CCNA, VMWare VCP, Microsoft MCSE and attended Devry Institute of Technology and is seeking his Certified Information Manager designation (CISM).
Jody Larabee has accepted a new role at the credit union as Senior Manager of Organizational Development. In this new role she will lead the credit union’s efforts to enhance learning and development for all employee-owners in order to provide exceptional member service. Ms. Larabee has 25-years of dedicated service to GLCU serving in many capacities during her tenure including leading the Call Center, Operations, Branch Management, Loan Sales, and Member Services. She is a Certified Trainer for Business Development Sales Training, a past graduate of the CUNA Management School and holds a Project Management Certificate from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
Ralph Czechowski recently joined GLCU as the Vice President of Retail where he will develop the long-term retail strategy, executing the strategy and leading the retail delivery channel of the credit union. Mr. Czechowski joins Great Lakes Credit Union from TCF National Bank where he held numerous roles in Retail Banking, Consumer Lending and Business Development. He was selected for TCFs Emerging Leader Program, working closely with executive management on organizational change and branding deployment. Mr. Czechowski has been a multiple year winner of TCFs President’s Club, Pinnacle Award and Annual Customer First Award. He holds a Master of Business Administration Graduate Degree from Robert Morris University.
Steve Bugg, President and CEO, of Great Lakes Credit Union stated, “First, it is with great pleasure that I get to welcome Ralph to our leadership team. Since Jody has served in many functional areas during her tenure at GLCU it gives her the added ability to really understand each area and focus in on improving how the organization supports our internal employee-owners so that they have the support, tools and resources in order to excel in building lasting relationships with our member-owners.
