Golden 1 Credit Union (Golden 1) is expanding home loan services in Santa Clara County. Today the sixth largest credit union in the United States celebrated the opening of its first location dedicated to home loans, located in Campbell, CA. The event included a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Campbell Chamber of Commerce and remarks from Richard Musci, Executive Vice President of Products and Delivery.
Home financing is one of the largest financial transactions a consumer makes in their life, and consumers shopping for a home loan have unique needs. Golden 1 is one of the first credit unions to meet these needs with a specialized center focusing on home lending. The new location represents Golden 1’s evolution as a company, as the credit union moves in to new markets, focuses on home lending products, and builds brand awareness throughout California. Home Loan Advisors at the center will help members with the entire mortgage, refinance, or home equity loan process in a comfortable atmosphere dedicated to lending. This includes connecting homebuyers to realtors who specialize in the local market and offer Golden 1’s Buyer Advantage program, which provides a discount on closing costs.
“The Home Loans Center will enhance the member experience and drive loan growth by promoting our competitive home loan products and service excellence to our members and the Campbell community,” said Michael Popp, Vice President of Home Loans. “We put our members’ interests first when advising them about the lending process. We look forward to serving the community in Santa Clara County and providing exceptional service and value-oriented solutions to homebuyers.”
Anyone who lives or works in California can become a Golden 1 member. With 13,570 members and growing in Santa Clara County, Golden 1 is proud to support the community, including a partnership with the Campbell Chamber of Commerce, and event sponsorships such as Boogie – Campbell’s Music Festival.
The Home Loans Center is located at 880 E. Campbell Ave, Campbell and is open Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and by appointment.
