SPOKANE, WA – Global Credit Union is wrapping up a month-long fundraising campaign for March of Dimes concluding with the March for Babies walk on April 27 raising over $3,600.
During the campaign, employees in all Global CU stateside regions participated in corporate-sponsored fundraisers including the kick-off breakfast celebration and Blue Jeans for Babies Day on March 20.
Global matched employee donations up to $20 per employee and Global CEO, Jack Fallis, personally donated $5 to each employee’s March for Babies online walk page. Global also sold raffle tickets to employees for the chance to win a new Ford Fiesta.
Global CU members contributed by donating to the Bottles for Babies coin collection and buying plush animals to support the cause.
As Global’s fundraising campaign for March of Dimes comes to a close, staff, family and friends gathered to march for babies, as seen here in the team photo. At the March for Babies walk Global was a $2,500 sponsor and donated the walk archway.
Over the last 12 years Global CU raised over $32,600.00 for the March of Dimes cause. For more information about Global CU’s commitment to community programs please visit www.globalcu.org/community.
