Glassdoor ranks Bethpage President & CEO Wayne N. Grosse among Top CEOs nationwide

Wayne N. Grossé, President & CEO, Bethpage Federal Credit Union, has been named one of the country’s Top CEOs among small and medium sized businesses, by Glassdoor, a world leading job recruitment website.

Glassdoor’s annual Employees Choice Award for the Top CEOs recognizes winners based on feedback provided exclusively and anonymously by his or her employees. Each employee responds to questions based on a variety of workplace factors tied to their employee experience including their CEO’s job performance. Over 100 Bethpage Federal Credit Union employees participated in the esteemed year-long review where Wayne Grossé received a 98% approval rating from Bethpage employees, as well as a ranking of #21 out of #50. In fact, since the award review period ended on May 1 st , Grossé’s approval rating has increased to 99%.

Wayne N. Grossé was named President & Chief Executive Officer of Bethpage Federal Credit Union in 2015 and under Wayne’s leadership, Bethpage has grown into the 16th largest credit union in the nation and the largest in the Northeast Region with $8.7 billion in assets today. In 2018, Bethpage was ranked as the Top Long Island Workplace by Newsday, and also received the “Clued in Senior Management Award.”

Wayne is the Chairman of the Family Service League and on the Board of the Long Island Association. He was a board member for the NYCE ATM Network for four years and served on the Long Island Council of the New York State Credit Union League for more than 11 years.

Additionally, Wayne has held local board positions on the SUNY Farmingdale Foundation and Huntington Chamber of Commerce. He has also been recognized for his contributions to Long island by City and State, and Long Island Press’ Power List.

For the 2019 Employees’ Choice Awards, Glassdoor ranks the Top 50 CEOs in six distinct categories in five countries. The Top CEOs were chosen based on the quantity and quality of current and former employee reviews between May 2, 2018 and May 1, 2019.

When providing a company review on Glassdoor, employees are asked to share their opinion on some of the best reasons to work for their employer (pros), any downsides (cons) and are encouraged to provide advice to management. Employees are also asked to rate several factors tied to their employment experience, including sentiment around their CEO’s job performance, in addition to rating workplace attributes like senior management among others. Specifically, when rating their CEO on Glassdoor, employees are able to choose from one of three options: approve, disapprove or no opinion of the CEO.
