Georgetown, SC – Georgetown Kraft Credit Union is pleased to announce the following promotions and new employees to our staff.
Kevin Langford has been promoted to Director of Information Technology. Having been with the credit union for 3 years, Langford is responsible in the review and maintenance of all technological updates to software and hardware needs for GKCU branches, including up-to-date security measures for the credit union. After receiving much of his technical education and experience with US Navy, Langford has been an instrumental in updating technology and online services to provide the accessibility for members.
Annie Adams has been promoted to Mortgage Lending Officer for the credit union. Having been a loan officer for several years at other local financial institutions, she joined GKCU in November 2011 as a loan officer and new member services representative. As mortgage lending officer, she will be responsible for reviewing, maintaining and filings of all mortgage loans for the credit union.
Charlene Leigh has been promoted to Quality Service Specialist. Transitioning from the head teller position, which she has held at two GKCU branches in her four years with the company, Leigh will be responsible for training staffing to insure consistent and quality member service at all branches. Her position will work closely with IT and Compliance Departments.
New Staff - GKCU
Member service representatives Heather LeDay and Kristin Pate have transitioned to GKCU’s call center, the central telephone hub for the credit union’s four branches. At the call center, they assist members with a variety of financial needs such as balance inquiries and transfers, updating member records and account access as well as answer inquiries from potential members.
GKCU also welcomes several new tellers to their member service department: Tony McRae, teller in the Pawleys Island office and Shannon Carroll, Betsy Cook and Lauren Cribb in the Georgetown office.
