Gibson Middle School Students Win Turkeys from America First Credit Union at Annual Trot

LAS VEGAS—November 21, 2012—Employees from six Las Vegas Area America First Credit Union branches donated to the Gibson Middle School’s annual turkey trot.

Gibson students ran races during their physical education classes to win turkeys for their family’s Thanksgiving dinners. America First employees later awarded 49 students with turkeys.

“This was such a fun event for us to do,” said Melissa Fama-Flis, America First Credit Union Marketing Coordinator. “We love being able to help the students of Gibson and are looking forward to helping with their holiday card and Warm the Soles of Kids projects.”

Prior to Gibson’s event, America First employees from the following branches donated the prize turkeys:

  • Sahara—3846 W. Sahara Avenue
