Gerber Federal Credit Union (Gerber FCU) announces the promotion of colleague Jessica Broad to Vice President - Compliance & Risk.

From starting as a part-time teller to processing mortgages to running our Compliance Department, Jessica has exhibited professionalism and job knowledge that has fueled her success. She has shared this with others in the credit union industry and serves on several MCUL committees. She is most deserving of a Vice President position, and I could not be more proud of her and her accomplishments” said John P. Buckley, Jr., Gerber FCU President/CEO.
Ms. Broad joined the credit union as part-time Teller in 2005 and served as Mortgage Processor and Compliance Officer prior to becoming the Assistant Vice President – Compliance and Risk Management in 2021. Broad will continue to lead the internal audit and compliance departments responsible for ensuring the strength of the compliance program, including policies and procedures that are designed to safeguard credit union assets and comply with all state, federal and local regulations. As a member of the Executive Leadership team, she participates in the strategic planning process, budget development, organizational development, and annual operational plan development. She volunteers as a member of the Michigan Credit Union League State and Federal Issues Working Group. She holds the Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) designation awarded by America’s Credit Unions (formerly the Credit Union National Association), as well as the Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) and Certified Risk Manager (NCRM) certifications from the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU).
