DALTON, GA (AUGUST 13, 2013) -- Thanks to the generosity of Georgia United Credit Union’s members in Dalton, 467 school supplies were donated to one Title 1 School in both Dalton City & Whitfield County School Districts. This was a part of the Credit Union’s second School Supply Drive with Star 94 Radio, which benefits Title 1 Schools in the communities served by Georgia United’s 16 branch locations across the state. A grand total of 8,251 items was collected from all branches; Georgia United’s Dalton Branch at 605 Calhoun Street donated 467 items to be distributed between a Title 1 School in both the City and County School Systems.
