Genisys Credit Union Launches Facebook Contest for Macomb Stars and Stripes Festival
AUBURN HILLS, MI (June 7, 2013) In search of a band to open for Friday night’s main act at the Macomb Stars and Stripes Festival, Genisys Credit Union announces a local band contest, taking place on their Facebook Page.
Genisys Credit Union, which provides services to anyone who lives or works in the Lower Peninsula, is launching a contest to vote for the best band to perform prior to Friday’s headlining performance on the main stage.
Voting will open Friday, June 7th, and close on Monday, June 17th, at 4:00pm. Everyone is encouraged to visit Genisys Credit Union’s Facebook page, listen to the three candidates, and vote for their favorite. The winner will be announced on June 18th, and perform on June 28th at the Stars and Stripes festival.
The candidates include: David Shelby, Desolation Angels, and LetricKramer.
“The Stars & Stripes Festival has always had the tradition of supporting the local music scene by having over 100 local bands perform during the festival.
