Gannon takes on director role at STCU
SPOKANE, WA (February 22, 2018) — Marci Gannon is STCU’s new director of project management.
It’s a new position at the $2.7 billion financial cooperative, which typically has up to a dozen major projects underway at a time. Gannon will oversee cross-functional efforts such as product and service launches; new branch openings; and adherence to regulatory changes.
Gannon started her career at STCU in 2000 in the credit union’s Contact Center, helping members over the phone. She became manager of STCU project management team in 2011, a position she held until her promotion to director.
Gannon earned a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University. She also holds degrees from Central Washington University and Spokane Falls Community College. She was president of her class at Western CUNA Management School, a school for credit union professionals. And Gannon also serves on the board of the Project Management Institute Inland Northwest chapter.
