FreeStar Financial Foundation is proud to announce a final contribution of $2,800 toward our 2024 charity efforts, bringing the total amount raised this year for its’ charity partners to over $21,000.00. These funds were generated through a variety of initiatives, including the Halloween Stroll, Jeans Days for credit union staff, spring plushie sales, and donor contributions.
Our 2024 Charity partners - Macomb Foster Closet and Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs - reflect the foundation’s commitment to supporting both the local community and military veterans. Macomb Foster Closet is a volunteer-run organization that provides free clothing and essential goods to children in foster care and their families. Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs trains and provides service dogs to disabled individuals, enhancing their independence and quality of life.
Impact and Generosity in 2024
As part of the end of year wrap up, each of the charities received a $1,400 check, marking the completion of FreeStar Financial Foundation’s 2024 charity partnerships. The Foundation extends its’ heartfelt gratitude to all sponsors, members, volunteers, and team members whose generosity and dedication made last year’s success possible.
