FORUM Credit Union supports an employee nominated charity each year. In 2024, FORUM nominated two Charities of Choice: Dayspring Center and The PourHouse. Dayspring is an organization that provides emergency shelter, clothing, and three nourishing meals a day for homeless families with children in central Indiana. The PourHouse assists individuals experiencing homelessness in overcoming barriers to housing, treatment, and healthcare.
Throughout 2024, FORUM employees participated in multiple fundraising efforts to support these charities including raffles, pinewood derby, an All-Star bowling event, designer handbag bingo, and more. Through these donation drives, FORUM raised over $86,000 and provided needed items to both charities to fulfill their missions. This includes the purchase of a box truck for The PourHouse. Employees also used 747 hours of paid volunteer time off to support various charities throughout the community including Dayspring, DYFI, NeighborLink, Good Samaritan, and Agape.
After taking an all-employee vote in December, FORUM announced its 2025 Charity of Choice will be the Diabetes Youth Foundation of Indiana (DYFI). DYFI is a local non-profit with a mission and passion to educate, encourage, and empower children living with Type 1 diabetes, while providing support to their families. They serve hundreds of youth in Indiana every year through their Residential Summer Camp, Day Camp, Family & Teen Weekends, Ambassador Program, and other outreach opportunities.
