First Community opens second call center in O’Fallon, Missouri

First Community opened a second Information Center inside their new WingHaven Branch managed by Nancy Brown. At nearly 10,000 sq. ft., this building is the third branch in O’Fallon and is located off I-64 at the Streets of Caledonia. The first floor is a full-service branch with drive-thru service that opened in December. The second floor has a 15-person call center and a meeting space intended for use by the community. 

The primary Information Center, located inside the Chesterfield HQ, handled nearly 300,000 calls in 2024. Both Information Centers can process account transactions, provide balances, and handle customer support issues, such as online banking issues, transaction disputes, or reporting a lost credit card.     

 “I believe First Community was among the first credit unions in the country to open a call center back in the 1980’s,” said Glenn Barks, President and CEO of First Community. “It’s been an integral part of serving members for over 30 years. Having a second location helps us accommodate our staff living in St. Charles County. It also provides another source of business continuity should we face an unexpected disaster in Chesterfield. It’s just part of how we’re growing”.
