First Commerce Credit Union is pleased to announce the Ribbon Cutting ceremony and Open House for our newly remodeled financial center located at 2330 Mahan Drive in Tallahassee. The Ribbon Cutting was held at 10:30 am on Monday, November 13, followed by an Open House. First Commerce members and the public are invited to stop by during business hours (Mon.–Fri., 9 a.m.–5 p.m.) throughout the week of November 13 - 17 to experience the new design and enjoy special treats and giveaways.
As part of its vision to Empower Generations and Transform Communities, First Commerce invested more than $900,000 in renovations for its Mahan Financial Center to create a cutting-edge banking experience with the latest in technology-enabled services and comfortable spaces for personal consultation. Dodstone Architects led the architectural design phase and RAM Construction served as lead contractor for building renovations, hiring multiple vendors and subcontractors, creating dozens of jobs in the local economy.
“As Tallahassee’s largest locally-based credit union for more than 80 years, our team is committed to empowering generations and transforming communities,” said Cecilia Homison, First Commerce Credit Union CEO. “We are delighted to introduce this reimagined state-of-the-art center to help people achieve their financial aspirations.”
First Commerce was joined by members of the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, local elected officials and other dignitaries, contractors for the renovation project, and members of the community for the ribbon cutting, followed by an open house reception inside the financial center.
