First Capital Federal Credit Union employees volunteer at Food Bank!
YORK, PA (November 7, 2024) — On November 7, 2024, several First Capital Federal Credit Union employees helped pack 1,080 boxes at the York County Food Bank along with 50 other volunteers.
“You can’t believe how many people it takes to pack those boxes,” said Tara Houser Minetos, SVP of Marketing. “What a rewarding experience knowing that you’re helping feed those in our community who may not know where their next meal is coming from.”
First Capital is also currently holding a food drive at each of its branches to gather non-perishable food items to donate to the Food Bank. And in October, First Capital also sold candy bars at its branches with all proceeds going to the York County Food Bank.
