Firemen’s Federal awards $11,000 in scholarships

NEW ORLEANS, LA (June 24, 2024)New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union proudly announces the 11 outstanding recipients of the Donald T. Bock Scholarship Program for 2024. This initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to supporting the educational aspirations of our members and their families. 

Each of the 11 recipients will receive a $1,000 scholarship to aid in their college expenses. We are delighted to introduce our 2024 scholarship recipients: MollieAnn Anti, Shelby DeSalvo, Avery Folse, La’Myreia Johnson, Saniya Johnson, Grace Koenig, Ethan Pittari, Emma Poche, Mia Signorelli, Malea Acklin, and Brandon Jenkins. These exceptional individuals have demonstrated academic excellence, community involvement, and a commitment to their personal and professional development. 

The Donald T. Bock Scholarship Program is named in honor of the late Donald T. Bock, a dedicated credit union volunteer whose legacy continues to inspire and uplift. This scholarship aims to remove financial barriers and empower our members to reach their full potential through higher education.
