evolve FCU hosted its first Social Purpose event of 2025. On Saturday, March 22nd, evolve FCU held Fun Day at the Arcade at Dave and Buster’s. The Social Purpose partners included for this event were The Child Crisis Center, El Paso Children’s Miracle Network, Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Center Against Sexual of Family Violence, Candlelighters, and Make-A-Wish, respectively. The children’s organizations were able to enjoy a wonderful time at Dave and Busters, where they got to enjoy Food, drinks, and arcade games. Many families and children have never been to Dave and Buster’s as it is often something they are not able to afford.
Hilda Menefee, the Family Services Coordinator from Candlelighters, stated, “Being partnered with evolve has helped our families experiences that otherwise they would never have the chance to be a part of. From the parents to the siblings and to the patients each outing we all take part in is another reason for our Candlelighters families to gain a moment of happiness. We will all always be forever thankful and grateful to them.” The staff at Dave and Buster’s were generous and welcoming, thanks to Frank Scarpello the GM and his awesome team for making it a memorable experience for the children and families. It was a perfect way to end their spring break from school.
