Envision Credit Union (Envision) has recently announced the launch of their Coats for Kids campaign to provide school children in Jackson, Gadsden, Leon, Thomas, and Decatur counties with coats for the upcoming winter season. Envision encourages community members to donate new
coats of any size beginning Sept. 30 through Oct. 30 at any Envision Credit Union branch location and participating public libraries. Once the coats are collected, Envision will announce its plan for distributing them in early November.
"Envision Credit Union was founded by educators who deeply understand the importance of giving back to our communities," said Kelli Walter, Vice President of Community Development at Envision. "Our 'Coats for Kids' campaign is an extension of our core values, and we are excited to partner with local libraries to ensure that children in our community have access to warm coats this winter."
Community members interested in dropping off a new coat can do so by visiting any Envision Credit Union branch location, or at any of the following participating public libraries:
