Employee’s raise most in Ent’s history
Colorado Springs, Colo. (Dec 11, 2012) – Ent Federal Credit Union wrapped up another successful United Way campaign – raising $168,000 exclusively from their employees’ generosity and passion for the community.
For more than 19 years, Ent has been a strong supporter of United Way – raising more than $100,000 for the sixth year in a row. Ent does not solicit its members for donations to their annual campaign; all funds raised come directly from Ent employees in the form of payroll deductions and internal fundraising efforts.
Barb Winter, Ent’s executive vice president of organizational resources said, “We realized $125,000 was an ambitious goal for the 2012 campaign in the current economy. I am proud of the generosity of our Ent employees – a record breaking donation year like this shows how much our employees care about the community.”
The majority of funds raised come from employee payroll deductions, but the credit union also held internal fundraising activities like jeans days, bake sales, an ice cream social and candy grams.
