Embrace Home Loans to hold first-ever sales conference

naugural conference, Embrace Catalyst, will include sessions on social media, marketing and the latest mortgage lending programs

Embrace Home Loans, a growing, digitally-focused mortgage lender, will hold its first-ever sales conference, Embrace Catalyst, from April 3 to April 5 in Newport, Rhode Island. The event will inspire and educate roughly 300 loan officers, processors and other industry professionals with engaging and motivational speakers. It will also provide insights on how to best assist today's borrowers in home purchase and refinancing decisions.

Embrace Home Loans has been recognized seven times by Fortune as one of the Best Medium-sized Companies to Work for in America and five times by Inc. as one of the Fastest Growing Companies in America. The company is also a 12-time recipient of a Best Places to Work in Rhode Island award by Providence Business News.

The three-day Catalyst event will include speakers and sessions on productivity, social media, marketing and personal growth. General sessions include a Top Producer Panel, moderated by Jeff McGuiness, chief sales officer at Embrace Home Loans, and interviews with successful loan officers from Embrace's retail and direct divisions. Attendees will gain insight into financial market trends and learn how to leverage Embrace's MBS Highway sales tool to increase production. The company will also address how to best leverage new loan programs such as HomeReady, Fannie Mae's alternative to FHA financing designed for creditworthy low and moderate-income buyers.

Attendees will also learn how Embrace is investing in technologies and digital marketing tools, company officials said. Embrace will release the results of its recent research on successful social media strategies and how to leverage social media to improve sales.

Steve Richman, a highly recognized sales trainer with Genworth Mortgage Insurance, will speak about the need for mortgage professionals to avoid common business clichés and the need to focus on updating their business plans to improve communication and differentiate themselves from competitors. "We are excited to get our sales team together in beautiful Newport," said Dennis Hardiman, CEO of Embrace Home Loans. "Catalyst is about furthering our sales team's professional and personal development and building community. It's going to be a fun and stimulating event!"
