Covina, CA – December 14, 2012 – Executive Compensation Solutions (ECS), an executive compensation and benefits consulting firm for the credit union industry, has released the results of its annual "Survey 2012: Employee and Executive Compensation and Benefits for the Credit Union Movement". This year’s Survey shows that for those Chief Executive Officer’s eligible for a raise, base pay levels increased by an average of 6.62% nationally. The Survey also illustrates the compensation and benefit trend for other members of the executive team, with analyses provided specific to asset size, region, and other variables including CEO gender and type of charter. All this provides credit union boards and management with valuable information upon which to make informed compensation and benefit decisions.
“ECS is proud to provide a comprehensive resource each year for the Credit Union Movement”, said Erin Tuckerman, Director of Marketing. “The data in The Survey enables credit unions to keep current on executive compensation and benefit trends and to develop internal programs that attract, incent, reward and retain their executives.”
This year, ECS once again teamed up with Credit Unions for Kids – a division of Children’s Miracle Network – as the chosen charity to accompany The Survey. For every credit union that completed The Survey questionnaire, ECS pledged $10 to Credit Unions for Kids. ECS is pleased to announce that due to this effort, nearly $3,000 was raised for Children’s Miracle Network.
ECS publishes The Survey annually as a service to the Credit Union Movement, providing credit unions and their board’s current and accurate information on executive compensation and employee and officer benefits, as well as updates in the regulatory environment that impact pay and benefit practices in the credit union industry.
