CUNA names three new vice presidents in Madison office

MADISON, WI (May 21, 2014) — Credit Union National Association (CUNA) is pleased to announce several key promotions at CUNA’s Madison office. James Carrick, Kristina Grebener and Marlo Foltz have been named vice president of their respective departments.

“Over the last year, we’ve had a number of senior staff retirements and staffing changes in Madison,” said Jill Tomalin, EVP & COO, CUNA Madison. “I’ve had the opportunity to evaluate how we remain nimble and adapt to the shifting needs of our market and business.  We are thrilled that James, Kristina and Marlo have dedicated a combined 40 years to product development with CUNA and bring exactly the type of experience and leadership we need at this time. They are proactive individuals who have the skills and expertise to push boundaries and reinvention in our product areas.”

James Carrick

James Carrick has been named vice president of learning events. Carrick has been with CUNA for 11 years, most recently as the associate vice president of learning. In his new role, he will oversee CUNA’s face-to-face and e-delivery programs. Carrick has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Kristina Grebener

Kristina Grebener, a 15 year CUNA veteran, has been named vice president of market research & consumer education. Grebener began her career at CUNA as a senior research analyst and most recently served as director of business & consumer publishing. In her new role, Grebener will manage and lead the development and implementation of tools credit unions need to understand, attract and educate credit union members and nonmembers. Grebener has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Marlo Foltz

Marlo Foltz has been named vice president of blended learning. Foltz has been with CUNA’s Center for Professional Development (CPD) for 14 years, most recently serving as associate vice president of blended learning where she oversaw the products and member services side of the CPDOnline product line. In addition to her previous duties, she will be responsible for the day to day functions of the CPD, half of the fiscal budgeting process and for the leadership of the CPD team. Foltz has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
