CUNA Management School returns to Madison, Wis. July 16-26, 2017

WASHINGTON, DC (January 5, 2017)CUNA Management School will convene July 16-26, 2017, in Madison, Wis. Celebrating its 61st graduating class this year, the renowned professional development program provides attendees with the knowledge and experience required for credit union leadership and allows them to earn the Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) designation.

“Leading a credit union is serious business; appropriately, so is CUNA Management School,” said Andy Fogle, MBA, CCUE, CEO of Des Moines Police Officers’ Credit Union. “Students are put through a comprehensive program that brings out their inner leader and prepares them to withstand the trials that all credit union executives must face.”

Attendees of CUNA Management School attend classes at the University of Wisconsin School of Business and stay at Chadbourne residence hall. Led by a combination of credit union and leadership experts, the three-year program is comprised of sessions on key operational, financial, managerial and strategic issues, as well as hands-on activities and aligning projects.

Students earn their CCUE credentials after completing all three years of the school, three exams, two projects and an oral presentation.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the friendships I made during CUNA Management School,” said Jenny Hoyle, CCUE, COO of Isabella Community CU in Mount Pleasant, Mich. “The generous fellow credit union leaders I met there continue to provide me with support and guidance to this day. They embody the cooperative spirit that makes this movement special.”
