CUNA to celebrate excellence in training and professional development with 2016 ELLy Awards

WASHINGTON, DC (April 11, 2016) — Credit Union National Association is now accepting entries for the 2016 CUNA Experience Learning Live! Training Awards, also known as the ELLy Awards. A celebration of the top achievements in credit union training and professional development, the ELLy Awards will be presented at CUNA Experience Learning Live!, October 23-26, 2016, in Nashville, TN.

“Because effective training is essential to a credit union’s viability, we believe it is important to recognize trainers that innovate, push the envelope and get results,” said Courtney Cantwell, instructional design manager at CUNA. “Our judges look forward to reviewing this year’s applications and learning about the cutting edge-solutions credit unions are employing to ensure their staff’s growth and development.”

ELLy awards will be presented in 6 categories at this year’s conference. Entries will be divided into two asset groups, less than and greater than $250 million, with six categories presented in each group. The 2016 categories include:

  • eLearning Award: For outstanding integration and utilization of technology-based training.
  • Training Champion Award: For an exceptional training management staff.
  • Training Professional of the Year Award: For an individual or department that demonstrates training excellence.
  • WOW Award: For the best overall training program or event.
  • Best Production Design Award: For the best visual, functional and interactive design of educational materials.
