CUES CEO Institute I Sells Out Again

MADISON, Wis.—The Credit Union Executives Society’s CEO Institute I: Strategic Planning, April 7-12, University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School, has sold out for the second straight year.

CEO Institute is a challenging academic and leadership program held in one-week segments over three years at the nation’s top business schools. In addition to CEO Institute I, the program includes CEO Institute II: Organizational Effectiveness, April 21-26, Johnson at Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y.; and CEO Institute III: Strategic Leadership Development, May 5-10, at the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business, Charlottesville, Va.

“This is the second year in a row CEO Institute I has sold out,” said Charles E. Fagan III, CUES’ president/CEO. “I'm pleased so many credit unions realize how vitally important education is to their success.

“We continue to get calls from executives who would like to register,” said Fagan. “Fortunately, the institutes may be taken out of order, so anyone who was planning to attend CEO Institute I may register for CEO Institute II or III instead.”

Since 1995, 834 credit union executives have completed all three segments of the CEO Institute program. Executives who complete all three years of the CEO Institute program and two post-segment projects are eligible to become Certified Chief Executives (CCE).
