CUES® announces Stan Hollen Scholarship for Payments University

In honor of retired CO-OP Financial Services CEO Stan Hollen, CUES is offering two full-tuition scholarships to its Payments University.

"Stan made significant contributions to the credit union industry, and we're pleased to pay tribute to him in this way," said John Pembroke, CUES' president/CEO.

CUES and CO-OP Financial Services are working together to bring Payments University to the industry. It will feature a unique blended learning format, with two live-taught, online learning sessions happening ahead of a two-day, in-person session in San Francisco, April 3-4, 2016.

"All Payments University sessions will be led by world-class instructors, something CUES prides itself on," said Pembroke. "Students will head home with what they need to develop a comprehensive payments strategy, and prepare for an uncertain and rapidly changing competitive landscape."

Attendees who complete all course work and assigned project will earn the Certified Payments Strategist (CPS) designation.

Industry leaders interested in applying for the scholarship must be active CUES members and willing to share experiences and insights gained at Payments University through CUES publications. Applications will be evaluated based on financial need and dedication to the credit union profession. The deadline is January 31, 2017.
