MADISON, Wis.—Two member businesses will be honored with a CUES Supplier of the Year award during the Credit Union Executives Society’s annual CEO/Executive Team Network conference, November 4-7, in Manalapan, Fla.
MasterCard Worldwide, Purchase, N.Y., will win for companies with 50 or fewer employees. Founded in 1966, MasterCard has tried to differentiate themselves from their competition by providing better service, creating more revenue, and offering enhanced products and services.
They have helped the credit union industry by having a dedicated team of resources aligned to servicing smaller credit unions within in the U.S. and globally—and by teaming up with their processing partners, MasterCard creates relationships with credit unions under $1 billion in assets. MasterCard also has a team strategically placed across the U.S. to build direct relationships with credit unions from $1-10 billion in assets.
MARQUIS, Frisco, Texas, takes top honors among companies with 50-100 employees. Formed in 1987, MARQUIS has been providing marketing and compliance solutions to benefit the credit union industry for over 20 years.
MARQUIS has supplied great thought leadership to the movement by authoring dozens of articles for the credit union press, providing expert testimony in articles they didn’t write, and speaking at numerous state and national industry events.
To be eligible to receive the CUES Supplier of the Year award, companies must be CUES Supplier members for at least one year. Nominees are judged on their contributions and achievements in the credit union industry, the benefits of their product or service to the movement and their role in the community. Winners receive a company profile in a CUES publication, a complimentary full-page, four-color advertisement in Credit Union Management magazine and a crystal trophy.
