CUES is pleased to announce its 2018 Outstanding Chief Executive Award winner and CUES Hall of Fame inductees.
The 2018 CUES Outstanding Chief Executive Award winner is Joe Newberry, President/CEO of Redstone Federal Credit Union, Huntsville, AL. The CUES Outstanding Chief Executive award recognizes leaders at the CEO level who display professional achievement, support employee motivation, and are dedicated to their community.
Additionally, the following executives will be inducted into the CUES Hall of Fame:
- Marty Komsa, Executive Advisor/Strategic Planning of Windsor Family Credit Union, Windsor, ON, Canada
- Eileen Rivera, President & CEO of SkyOne Federal Credit Union, Hawthorne, CA
- Cathie Tierney, CCUE, President/CEO & Treasurer of Community First Credit Union, Appleton, WI
The CUES Hall of Fame recognizes a lifetime of achievement and dedication to the credit union movement. These extraordinary leaders were chosen by CUES’ board of directors for their contributions to their profession and the industry; involvement in community service; and education and history of self-improvement.
All will be honored at CUES CEO/Executive Team Network™, November 5-7, 2018, Nashville. Each fall credit union executives gather at CEO/Executive Team Network which combines an exploration of hot industry topics and powerful networking, leaving attendees feeling inspired and ready to hit the ground running once home.
