CU Campus Resources has Successful Peak Processing Season and Announces White Paper

October 24, 2012 – Madison, WI – CU Campus Resources is pleased to announce a successful fall 2012 processing season. Student loan application submissions started in early summer and will continue into the fall, but the largest numbers took place July through September. During these three months alone, CU Campus Resources clients processed nearly 5,000 applications for private student loans for their members. This represents a 45% increase over 2011 volumes.

“Our clients are having a tremendous year,” said Mike Long, COO of CU Campus Resources. “We are honored to partner with these credit unions and provide them with the systems and support they need to be there for their members.”

Additionally, CU Campus Resources will be releasing a White Paper entitled “Demystifying Private Student Loans,” in cooperation with CU Student Choice on November 6, 2012, at the CUNA Lending Council Conference in Miami. The White Paper was written by Jim Jerving, a frequent contributor for CUNA Councils. “There are so many misconceptions in the market today about student lending,” said Long. “We wanted to provide some perspective by featuring the good work that credit unions are doing in this space. The real story is very compelling.”
