CrossState Credit Union Association ready to ReConnect at third annual convention
HARRISBURG, PA (January 24, 2022) — Are you ready to Rock ‘n’ Roll? CrossState Credit Union Association is pleased to announce its third annual convention at the Atlantic City Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, May 22-24. The event will be the Association’s first in-person convention since its inception in January 2020.
CrossState members are invited to “ReConnect” with their peers at this jam-packed conference. With energetic keynote speakers, educational breakout sessions, ample networking time, and a fun-filled atmosphere, this will be CrossState’s best convention to date.
Kicking off ReConnect is keynote speaker Ross Bernstein with “The Champion’s Code: Building Relationships Through Life Lessons of Integrity and Accountability from the Sports World to the Business World.” Bernstein will use his experience as a sports journalist and author to detail how lessons learned on the field can be brought into the business world, and spark success for your credit union.
The best-selling author of nearly 50 sports books, Ross is an award-winning peak performance Hall of Fame business speaker who’s keynoted conferences for Fortune 500 companies on all seven continents and has been featured on CNN, ESPN, Fox News, and CBS This Morning, as well as in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and USA Today.
Rachel DeAlto will keep the momentum going on May 23. A relationship expert, media personality, and speaker, she is also the author of “relatable: How to Connect with Anyone Anywhere (Even if It Scares You).”
Rachel has appeared as a relationship expert on Lifetime’s Married at First Sight and TLC’s Kate+Date. Rachel maintains a law degree and a Master’s in psychology. In addition to her regular appearances, Rachel has also been featured on a multitude of media outlets including The TODAY Show, Access Hollywood Live, and CBS This Morning. She has also given three TEDx talks including Being Authentic in a Filtered World which is featured on TED.com.
Rounding out the keynote lineup is Ryan Leak, who speaks to over 200,000 people a year and trains over 15,000 leaders. His keynotes are known for helping people get out of their comfort zones and take risks.
His keynote topics range from Chasing Failure, Self-Leadership, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusions, Never Give Up-Ish, Seven Levels of Listening, Followership, How to be the Team Member Everyone Wants to Work With, and more.
Introducing each of these speakers is Denny Corby, back for his sixth convention as emcee. Corby has become a member-favorite and a huge fan of credit unions since working with the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association and now CrossState. He has lived the real-life “The Office” growing up in Scranton with his family owning the paper company. Instead of taking over the family business, he pursued his dreams of magic and comedy. He seamlessly melds the two together and has most notably appeared on Penn & Teller’s “Fool Us.”
